ADHD in Women
Many accomplished women reach adulthood, and often motherhood, before recognizing that what they've been calling laziness or disorganization is ADHD.
You may have built elaborate systems to compensate for years. Those systems often hold until something adds enough load, a new baby, a promotion, a harder season, and then they buckle.
What Brings Women In
-
01
A lifetime of being told you're smart but don't apply yourself
-
02
Exhaustion from masking and overcompensating to keep up appearances
-
03
Emotional dysregulation that feels disproportionate and then brings shame
-
04
A recent diagnosis, or a strong suspicion, that reframes a lot of your history
Effort isn't the same as ease.
How I Work
This isn't therapy that tries to make you less yourself. We work with Internal Family Systems to understand the parts of you built to compensate, and somatic work to address the dysregulation directly. The goal is a life that requires less constant self management, not more discipline.
Who I See
Physicians, attorneys, executives, entrepreneurs, and therapists who've spent years outperforming their own internal chaos and are tired of it.
