Telehealth
Therapy by Video, Anywhere in Virginia
Telehealth sessions work the same way in-person sessions do. The only difference is that you join from wherever you are.
I offer telehealth to patients located anywhere in Virginia, using a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You'll receive a private link before each session and join from a computer or phone.
Who Telehealth Suits
Telehealth tends to work well if you travel for work, live outside the Tri-Cities area, are newly postpartum and prefer not to leave the house, or simply prefer the convenience of meeting from a familiar space. Physicians, attorneys, executives, and other patients with demanding schedules often find it easier to protect the hour when it doesn't involve a commute.
What You Need
-
01
A private space where you won't be interrupted or overheard
-
02
A stable internet connection
-
03
A computer, tablet, or phone with a camera and microphone
-
04
A quiet 50 minutes with the door closed
A closed door is often all the space this work requires.
Brainspotting and somatic work can both be done effectively over video. If a technique ever calls for something in person, we'll talk about it directly rather than assume telehealth is the wrong fit.
Individual sessions are 300 dollars, and intensives are available if you want concentrated time. Payment is self pay, and a superbill is provided on request if you wish to seek out-of-network reimbursement. Full fees are listed on Rates and Insurance.
A Conversation First
The consultation is free and there is no pressure in it. We talk for a short while, you ask what you want to ask, and you decide afterwards.
