Pregnancy After Loss
Being pregnant again after a loss is its own experience, separate from ordinary pregnancy anxiety and separate from grief alone.
You may be holding hope and dread at the same time, counting weeks against a previous loss, and unsure how to talk about this pregnancy with people who don't know what came before it.
What Comes Up
-
01
Difficulty letting yourself feel attached to this pregnancy
-
02
Anniversary reactions tied to dates from the previous loss
-
03
Anxiety around appointments, scans, and milestones that once went wrong
-
04
A grief that has nowhere to go because everyone around you is celebrating
Grief and hope can live in the same body.
How I Work
I make room for both the loss and the current pregnancy, without asking you to set one aside for the other. Brainspotting and somatic work help with the anxiety that lives in the body around appointments and milestones. Internal Family Systems gives the grieving part of you a place to be, without it having to run the whole show.
Who This Is For
Patients who are pregnant or trying to conceive after miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss, and want support that holds the whole picture.
Support Through This Pregnancy
A free consultation is a good first step, whenever you're ready.
