Weekly sessions are 50 minutes. I offer in-person at my office in Prince George, Virginia or telehealth from anywhere in Virginia. Patients who choose to work with me understand that weekly sessions are necessary for reaching their desired outcomes, often choosing to work with me for one to two years initially. ## What the First Few Sessions Look Like We start with a free consultation, a short conversation to see whether we're a good fit before either of us commits to anything. If we move forward, your first full session is an intake, where I ask about what's brought you in, your history, and what you're hoping is different on the other side of this work. There's no pressure to have that fully worked out yet. Fees are listed in full on Rates and Insurance. The following few sessions are where we start to get oriented, understanding your nervous system's patterns, the parts of you that tend to run the show, and what has and hasn't helped before. From there, the work follows what's actually present, using Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems, or somatic approaches as fits the moment. ## In Person or Telehealth My office is at 6610 Commons Drive, Suite C, Prince George, Virginia, convenient to the Tri-Cities area. Telehealth sessions are available to anyone located in Virginia and work well for Brainspotting and IFS, since both rely more on attention and internal focus than on physical proximity. ## Weekly Sessions We meet weekly. Weekly sessions build momentum, and they keep the work moving rather than restarting it each time. Once the work is well established, we can look together at whether anything about that should change. A 24 hour cancellation notice is required. Self pay only, out of network, superbill provided on request.
