I see children and adolescents in person at the Prince George office. Sessions are 50 minutes and paced to the young person in the room, not to a curriculum. This is a supported part of my practice rather than a program, which means we keep it simple and we keep you informed. ## What This Looks Like With younger children, the work happens sideways. We draw, we build things, we talk while hands are busy, because that is how a child tells you what happened and how it landed. With teenagers, it usually looks more like a conversation, one where nobody is grading them and nobody repeats what they said at dinner. I meet with parents at the start, and then at intervals we agree on together. You will know what we are working on and what would help at home. You will not get a transcript of your child's session, because the trust that makes the work possible depends on that. ## Who This Is For Children and teenagers carrying anxiety, a frightening or medical experience, a loss, a family change, or a worry they have decided is theirs alone to manage. It is often the capable one, the child everybody describes as easy, who has quietly taken the most on. If your family is already working with me, or you are a mother I see and your child needs somewhere to put this too, say so at the consultation and we will talk it through honestly, including whether a referral would serve your child better.
