Approach

# How I Work

Three modalities, one aim: helping you feel safe enough to fully live, love, and mother.

I draw from three modalities: Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems, and somatic work. I choose between them, or blend them, based on what's actually in front of me in a given session, not on a fixed protocol.

## Why Not Talk Therapy Alone

Many of the women I see have already tried talking it through, with a therapist, a coach, a very patient friend. They can narrate their own history with impressive clarity. Insight isn't the missing piece. What's missing is a way to work with the parts of the nervous system and the psyche that don't respond to being understood, only to being met differently.

## The Three Modalities

Brainspotting uses a fixed point in your visual field to access places where activation is held outside conscious awareness. Internal Family Systems works with the different parts of you, the ones that manage, the ones that protect, and the ones that got left behind, so more of your life can be run by you rather than by an old strategy. Somatic work brings attention to the body itself, so your nervous system has a chance to complete what it never finished.

## The Arc of the Work

We usually begin by understanding how you've been coping and what that coping has cost you. From there, the work moves toward the specific experiences, births, losses, patterns, that are still active in your body or your internal system. Over time, session by session or across a single intensive, the aim is for those experiences to settle so they stop running the show.

Helping you feel safe enough to fully live, love, and mother.

None of this requires you to relive everything in detail, and none of it requires you to perform distress to be taken seriously. We work with what your system is ready for, at the pace it can integrate.
