You were never meant to feel this disconnected
Trauma‑informed therapist in serving clients in Prince George, Hopewell, Dinwiddie, and virtually across Virginia, specializing in anxiety, ADHD in women, burnout in high‑achieving adults, and healing from past trauma.
You are here because….
You’ve done everything right, but it doesn’t feel right.
You’re the responsible one. The strong one. The one people rely on.
You’ve checked every box—degrees, career, relationships—and on paper, it looks like you’re thriving.
But inside?
You’re tired.
Tired of holding it all together.
Tired of the racing thoughts, the pressure, the second-guessing.
Tired of pretending you’re fine when you feel like you’re drowning.
You’re not broken. You’re burned out.
And somewhere under all that survival is a self you haven’t met in a long time—curious, creative, calm, and whole.
Therapy is where we go to find you again.
You fear you’ll never get there or think life is supposed to be this hard.
I have been in your shoes. I know the way home.
You’ll develop new methods of coping that address the root of the problems.
There is another way.
Meet Leah Harlan, Licensed Therapist
Leah Harlan is a therapist who helps people rediscover joy, calm, and meaning after years of carrying too much. With a grounded, compassionate presence, she weaves together Internal Family Systems, somatic work, and CBT to help clients heal from burnout, anxiety, and the lingering impact of emotionally complex families. Leah believes therapy should feel like both a soft landing and a steady push toward the life you’ve been longing for.
Here’s How I Can Help:
-
I will come up with a unique plan that meets your needs. Together, we will come up with a schedule and frequency that works best for you. These sessions can either be telehealth or in-person based on your needs.
Anxiety & Burnout Therapy for High‑Achieving Adults in Prince George and surrounding areas, and virtually across Virginia.
“I help professionals and high‑achieving adults in the Tri‑Cities area heal from high‑functioning anxiety, quiet burnout, and childhood emotional trauma.”
-
I will meet with you and your partner to come up with a plan that meets your needs. Every couple can benefit from growing together. I am here in times of crisis but also as a sounding board to increase joy and intimacy.
-
I work with teens (13-17) who are struggling with anxiety, adhd, and neurodivergency. With art, and mixture of writing and play, we work on emotional regulation, executive functioning skills, and self-acceptance. If telehealth works better for your teen, I provide a neat package with art supplies and tactile components to make our time together better suited.
